Manchester United are reportedly front-runners in the race to sign highly-rated striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The Red Bull Salzburg forward has scored 26 goals in just 18 appearances this season, including an incredible seven times in four Champions League matches.
As well as United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona are known admirers of the Norway international.
According to Norwegian outlet Dagbladet, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the teenage hitman at Old Trafford, having previously managed his fellow countryman at Molde.
Solskjaer is keen to bolster his attack, having sold Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez in the summer, leaving him with only Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as his main strikers.
Last month, Haaland hailed Solskjaer when questioned about the possibility of reuniting with his former boss.
The teenager told TV2: “He has had a huge impact on my life, both as a person and as a trainer.
“He won the Champions League and was an incredibly good player. He has taught me a lot.
“I have dreamed of playing for the best clubs in the world my whole life, and I especially like English football.”
Haaland’s father, former Leeds and Manchester City player Alf-Inge, told talkSPORT last week that his son would one day like to play in the Premier League.
“When that will happen, I don’t know. It is a very tough league,” he said. “Up to now he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at.
“He is built for the Premier League, but whether that will happen now or at a later stage, we don’t know.
“He is at Red Bull, a fantastic club playing Champions League so in a way he is in no hurry.
“Red Bull have shown from the past that they are a ‘middle step’ club, and if they are going to recruit players in the future they can’t put a stupid price tag on the players because nobody would want to go there.”
